Director Global Supply Chain Strategy (all genders)

Responsibilities:

  • Plans, prioritizes, and leads strategic initiatives to deliver greater efficiency and effectiveness across global supply chains, logistics and procurement
  • Continuously evaluate all aspects of supply chain operations, systems, roles and processes across various global and local business units to make strategic recommendations to optimize the value chain
  • Builds, establishes, and leverages a Supply Chain Center of Excellence including establishment of a global supply chain services team
  • Provides functional leadership and direction for cross-functional-teams
  • Close collaboration with cross-functional leaders and partners across the global organization to develop and successfully execute strategic plans with the goal of increasing sales, customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Implementation/transfer of regional best practices to the global organization
  • Develops, aligns and manages a portfolio of strategic initiatives over short, medium and long-term planning horizons

Requirements:

  • Minimum BA/BS required in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field, MS/MBA desirable
  • At least 10-15+ years of professional experience in the supply chain area, preferably with leadership experience in a multinational, global and complex Organization
  • Experience across multiple disciplines including supply/demand planning, sourcing, procurement, fulfillment, logistics and distribution and/or equivalent consulting experience
  • Fluency in English necessary, multi-language proficiency is a plus
  • SAP / APO or other comparable planning software experience required; SAP S/4 HANA experience strongly preferred
  • Possesses strong analytical and strategic thinking, as well as conceptual working skills
  • High level of initiative and engagement, teamwork and interpersonal skills as well as a strong hands-on mentality
  • International, multicultural way of thinking and approach and willingness to travel
