Aligning the workforce with strategic objectives

According to a recent study by HRCI a misalignment between the company’s strategic objectives and its mission and vision is quite common. It's crucial to facilitate employees’ understanding of their individual contributions in the context of work culture and organizational goals. Some organizations overemphasize the technology, aimed at diagnosing the incompatible behavioral patterns and values. But overreliance on technology without employees' internalization of the importance of desired behaviors and mind sets won't lead to alignment to business objectives. Hence, besides purchasing the technological solution, the business owners should request the follow-up tailored feedback session and individual coaching sessions to achieve the internalization of new values by employees.
