Finance Manager - North Macedonia

Responsibilities:

• manage accounting and controlling functions for the legal entity in North Macedonia, report disciplinary and functionally to Group CFO and supports the GM in his role
• responsible for period-end closing and reporting in accordance with local GAAP rules, government regulations, internal and external compliance. Prepares monthly financial report reviews with Group Finance
• coordinate annual statutory audit and other external tax and government audits with auditors. Ensure tax compliance and Transfer price documentation accuracy
• identify financial risk and develop mitigation strategies
• monitor cash flow, treasury, tax, and all accounting areas
• prepare business plan, quarterly forecast, variance analysis. Identify opportunities for cost reductions and efficiency improvements.
• coordinate project calculations, various controlling analysis with Group Controlling.
• being a partner to General Manager and facilitate decision making process by providing support in driving relevant analysis and strategy and performance reviews
• maintaining effective liaison with Banks and Financial Institutions
• coordinate annual statutory audit and other external tax and government audits with auditors. Ensure tax compliance and Transfer price documentation accuracy
• set up and enforce local financial and controlling process in line with central guidelines.
• responsible for the training and development of the local finance and controlling team members.

• being the contact person of the company for external / internal auditors and providing them all necessary information, carry out audit reviews and monitor the financial effectiveness of systems and controls;
