Head of Accounting - Krnješevci

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Relevant accounting experience (manufacturing preferred)
- Team leadership experience
- Strong MS Office skills; Navision is a plus
- Good knowledge of IAS/IFRS and Serbian tax regulations
- Fluent in English
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented
- Strong communicator with solid organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Lead daily accounting operations and ensure accurate reporting
- Monitor ledgers, trial balance, and conduct closing activities
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
- Handle tax reporting and liaise with authorities
- Review VAT calculations and ensure compliance
- Support audits and work with external auditors
- Oversee payments, cash flow, and intercompany transactions
- Coordinate employees’ documents, contracts and payroll process
- Deliver internal financial analysis and performance reports
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Identify improvement opportunities and support decision-making with insights
- Lead and develop a small accounting team
