Head of Accounting - Nova Pazova

- University degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields
- Proven experience in accounting, preferably within production industry
- Previous team management experience
- Very good knowledge of MS Office, while previous experience in SAP would be highly appreciated
- Strong knowledge of IAS and IFRS and their application in work
- Knowledge of Serbian legislation in finance and taxation is prerequisite
- Fluency in English
- Analytical and systematic approach with problem solving skills
- Good communicator with advanced organizational and management skills
Main tasks:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role e.g. AR, AP, GL
- Control and follow up of AR and AP Ledger
- Control of trial balance and ensure timely closing of accounts
- Responsible for timely monthly and annual financial statements
- Responsible for tax reporting and communication with tax authorities
- Prepare and review VAT calculations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Working closely with auditors
- Review and control of payments and cash-flow
- Review and control of intercompany transactions
- Provide guidance and supervision to the accounting team, promoting professional growth and development
