Global Strategic Buyer - Trade Goods
JelentkezekGlobal responsibility for defined suppliers in Sub-Category Trade Good, collaboration and implementation of the global category strategy as well as a sustainable optimisation of the supply base with regards to cost, quality & delivery performance; global coordination and alignment of purchasing activities within the Sub-Category as well as execution of direct local responsibility for selected plants.
Duties:
- Direct strategic purchasing responsibility for assigned part numbers in selected plants (Germany & Hungary)
- Identifying, managing and developing new suppliers globally
- Ensuring a future-oriented supplier structure
- Driving global (re-)sourcing projects, based on Category Strategy and support new sourcing projects in accordance with the Sub-Category strategy, which also includes the RFQ process, management of the tool transfers/tool orders, participation in technical discussions, managing the sampling process, etc.
- Collaboration within the global Category Team Trade Goods, with global responsibility and active collaboration with other departments such with Supplier Quality, Supplier Integration Management, R&D and Operations
- Responsible for a sustainable cost reduction of the supply base, including cost/product optimisations and additional value add creations
- Managing and driving assigned projects to achieve the goals and expected schedules within a matrix organisation.
Requirements:
- University or college degree, preferable in industrial engineering
- At least 3 years of professional experience in purchasing within a global environment, ideally in the mechanical engineering sector
- Very good communication skills; fluent in English and Hungarian, with at least basic (preferably stronger) German
- Negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Ariba is an advantage
