Our client, a market leader with international operations, is seeking a Plant Manager to lead its newly acquired powder coating company in Budapest, Újpest. The successful candidate will oversee all core business functions, including production, organisational structure and personnel management, while ensuring full compliance with legal, technical and regulatory requirements relating to labour, the environment, taxation and exports.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the company with full P&L ownership, including budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
- Oversee all operational processes to ensure efficiency, quality and adherence to internal and external standards.
- Drive the integration of the business into a broader corporate structure and support long-term investment planning.
- Manage pricing strategies, cost calculations and negotiations for customer projects and quotations.
- Ensure optimal production performance by balancing colour optimisation, delivery timelines and margin targets.
- Coordinate maintenance activities, both internally and with external contractors.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency and profitability.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team in close collaboration with shift leaders.
- Identify and cultivate new market opportunities and customer relationships beyond the existing network.
Requirements
- 7-8 years' experience of operating sintering
- People management
- Conversational level of English or German
- Knowledge of Serbian/Croatian is an advantage
