Our client is a large (11 000 employees) full cycle gold mining company and is searching for an experienced Head of corporate training to design and oversee all learning and development programs within their organization aimed specifically at soft skills development. Main responsibilities include identifying training needs based on skills gap analyses, developing group and individual learning courses and managing the training budget. To be successful in this role, you should have solid talent management experience, organizing trainings and designing the training curriculum.

Use performance reviews and skills gap analyses to identify training needs per department, team and individual

• Develop career plans

• Plan, develop and oversee delivery of training and staff development programs based on business goals

• Oversee learning activities, i.e. facilitate the proper evaluation of instructor performance and effectiveness of training programs and provide recommendations for improvement.

• Manage quarterly and annual training budgets

• Implement coaching sessions and mentorship programs to establish a culture of continuous learning

• Deploy relevant methods depending on the goals – classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, wrokshops, conferences or recommend new training methods (including e-learning courses and gamebased platforms)

Work experience in talent management (around 5 years)

• Experience in similar business environment

• In-depth understanding of traditional and modern training methods (including workshops, simulations, e-learning and coaching)

• Experience organizing training activities in a corporate environment

• Hands-on experience with project management and budgeting

• Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS)

• Excellent communication and leadership skills • BSc/MSc in Human Resources, Learning and Development, Organizational Psychology or relevant field
